Principles of Christian Liberty - from commentator and pastor, Rob Ventura.
- We are never at liberty to behave in a way which Scripture flatly condemns.
- We are never at liberty to wound the conscience of or become a stumbling block to another believer, who cannot do what we would do with a good conscience by flaunting our liberty before them. 1 Cor. 8:13
- We are never to engage in anything which might harm our testimonies as followers of Jesus to the unsaved world.
- We are not to hinder our own spiritual growth or communion with the Lord by wounding our conscience; thus, in all that we do, it must be done in faith to the glory of God. (Cf. 1 Cor. 10:31)
