This is your last chance to suffer. In a few short years, if you’re a Christian, you will be in a place that is beyond suffering.  Beyond sin.  Beyond brokenness.  You will understand all that God has done and in your heart of hearts you will know it to be good.  For the vast majority of your existence, you will live by sight and not by faith.  But that’s not how it is now, is it?  To reverse how Paul puts it in 1 Corinthians 13, “then we shall see face to face.”  But “now we see but a poor reflection.”  Then...we will live by sight.  But now we live by faith.  Then...we will understand.  But now we often don’t.  How can God be both good and sovereign—and yet have allowed these things to happen to me?
